Hi, I’m Kris, a web and graphic designer with over a decade of experience in the creative industry, including 10 years working professionally in Australia. My journey in design has been anything but ordinary—it’s been a path filled with learning, growth, and a deep passion for helping others bring their ideas to life.
For years, I thrived in a structured Australian work environment, surrounded by amazing colleagues who not only sharpened my technical skills but also supported me in ways beyond work. They helped me grow spiritually, professionally, and personally, shaping the designer I am today. I truly loved what I did, but a desire for change—and a longing to reconnect with my roots—led me to move back to the Philippines and pivot toward freelancing and creative freedom.
Taking the leap into freelancing was a huge decision. It meant stepping away from financial stability and embracing uncertainty, but it also meant pursuing what I love the most: designing with purpose. Now, based in the Philippines and drawing from my global experience, I dedicate my skills to empowering small businesses, startups, and individuals who need high-quality design but may not have the resources to get started.
Through MKDesignWorks, I aim to bridge the gap between creativity and accessibility. Whether it’s crafting a brand identity, building a user-friendly website, or designing compelling visuals for social media, my mission is to make design more approachable and impactful.
I believe that good design isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s about telling a story, creating connections, and making a difference. And that’s why I do what I do.
